8 Gospel lessons we learn from Star Wars

1. Family History is really, really important. Luke and Leia could have used familysearch.org

2. The Force is just a fancy word for The Spirit. May the Force be with you, always. Sound familiar?

3. To know if the Book of Mormon is true don’t use your 5 senses.  Search your feelings. How does it make you feel when you read the book?

4. Missionary Companions stick together.  These two rarely were seen apart from each other.

5. Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven. Obi Wan sacrificed himself so he could help Luke in times of need.

6. The Dark side may seem tempting, but don’t give in.

7. There IS a Spirit World. Truth is eternal.

8. Be aware of all the traps and snares Satan places in your path.

  1. Heheh. True enough. I remember, several years ago when I lived in Maryland, one young deacon speaking in sacrament and comparing the Force to the Spirit. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
